a few adjustment and editing had to be make by my fiance [Rizzy] and the bride's lil sis [Fiq Adella]

I have to put aside my ~~wedding invitation~~ card designing for a while for my nieces again

they are going to have a birthday party this 19th November

and that little talented Aleesha [Ica] wanted a

Dora the Explorer theme

so in order to make her wish comes true, I made this.......

making 20 small paper Dora the Explorer 's backpacks for the lil ones..
thanks to uncle Rizzy for eyes and mouths...
so I just print - photostat - colour - cut - paste ~

I learned folding the paper bags from online tutorial...the easiest way!

MY FIRST TIARA EVER

my cousin is getting married next week and my nieces going to be the flower girls

but every fancy crown for kids in town seem to be missing in action!!

so i searched for the tutorial on YouTube

my first try ever!

specially made for my IZRAs as flower girls for cuzzy Fara Azlin ^_^

so this why all tiaras in town missing in action?
for me to learn to make one!

gonna be two actually..for Aleeya too :)

the real princess was sleeping..so Dora had to do the modelling part :P

Rizzy bought me dylon fabric dye before

~~[err....i asked him to :P]~~

well...i have an old white shirt that is still looks great

[seldom wear it coz it's WHITE]

so i changed the colour to PURPLE

[but ~~not so purple~~ as i used the dye in small amount...1st try...not so confident =_=]

my niece was excited to dye her shirt too!!

not sure the proper soaking duration.....i just soak it for more than 12 hours >_<

then just wash them with lots of water and dry under the sun!

p/s: don't know why my life is so purple lately :P

as my cousin and my bestie love the Jack Skellington character in Nightmare Before Christmas,

i decided to make a ~~card~~ with it..

ok...i changed my plan......i made two bookmarks!!

i've been surfing about tea bag a few days ago and found some interesting and easy tutorials

i just tried folding one kimono for fun actually..but it turned nice...so i made another 1..

in stead of pasting the kimono on the card's cover, i got the idea to use it as the casing for the bookmarks [~~brilliant idea, huh? no need to make the envelopes for the cards then~~ ^_^]

ok..last minute idea...[which meant..i didnt have any idea at all =_=!]

really didnt know what to draw.....so i just sketched a simple flower and coloured it with poster colour, and make the outline using a pen...

as easy as that!

i purposely make the colour a bit abstract [what's the right term +_+]

just paint the whole page with poster colour [again..]

i wrote this poem directly on the card with a pen!!

truly spontaneous phrases from the bottom of my heart ^_^

[its actually just some gifts for both sides....decorate and put them on the.......errr..what do we call it in english? tray?? huh....sounds weird =_=!]

so...as i had some balance of fresh flowers for my engagement last week, i tried to make the experiment :)

it seemed too long that i didnt practice on sketching faces

i did something this evening..4th try on sketching people..tried to draw a guy [2nd try for a guy then]

i drew it by referring to the original photo but still couldnt get the same figure [again =_=!]

and dont know whether i'm ~~improving~~ or not

my God Brother died of an accident last wednesday...7th april..

we've been growing up together...went to the schools together..

even though she's my senior..just a year older..but i never treat her like one!

she loved to play with young kids..burning the firecrackers back at my kitchen....joined them as she behaved like one too

my childish friend now has grown up [hope this marriage would make her a bit matured]

i cant believe i am touched and sad ...thinking that she's going to move away from home...to JB...

i was [and still am] very excited!!!!!

i tried to paint on fabric last night....

well...it ~~wasn't so~~ good at first but i think i like it....

i traced my own sketch onto the fabric [mum's old uniform~nurse :P]..and painted it with fabric dye.

i sketched the flower using non-waterproof marker

so the result isn't so good

but i highlighted it with the fabric marker and add on some glitter sparkles
